About
I originally made this website to celebrate the music made by Bob
Geldof and The Boomtown Rats. To me the Rats will always be the
world's greatest band! The Rats never really fit into any particular
genre. Each song could be completely different sounding to the next.
I loved that artistic creativity and craft, and you can still hear
new things on the millionth play (go on try it).
Rather
than sounding like today's bland karaoke models, The Rats had personality,
humour, and talent.
The
site has now become the official website of the Boomtown Rats.
I hope
you enjoy the site!
