Transport

Airports : Fly to Ercan Airport in Northern Cyprus (from Stansted, Gatwick, Manchester, and Glasgow) transfer time 50 mins.

Fly to Larnica Airport in South Cyprus from a number of airports. There is no problem with access to the North.

A transfer by car between Larnaca Airport and Villa Royale costs £40 each way and takes about an hour. We can help arrange this for you.

Drive on the left (as in the UK). Traffic and road signs are international. Maximum speed is 100 km/hr. Drivers are prohibited to drive under the influence of alcohol. The limit is 50mgr (as in Europe).

Passports / Visa : EU passport holders receive three month visa on arrival.

Local Taxis : Taxis are widely available but do not carry a meter. However, there are standard journey charges.

Public Transport : A good inexpensive network of buses and mini-buses operates between all the main towns, in addition there are Dolmush (shared taxis) operating on the same routes.

Marinas : There are yacht mooring facilities in Kyrenia, and Famagusta.
